Solwezi

A huge open cast copper mine is being developed at Solwezi. The Christian Community Church there was concerned about women who were driven by poverty to sell sex to the men coming to work there. We are supporting an initiative to offer these women an alternative way of providing for themselves and their children by running a business co-operative.
