Who We Are
The Bridge Trust Ltd is a registered charity formed in 2011. We’re based in Bristol in the UK but work across the world, particularly in India and Zambia. We’re a Christian-based charity and strongly believe that our faith should lead to action.
We currently employ Colin and Cara Medus who started working for Bridge in 2022. They took over from Dave and Rhi Day who had been working for Bridge since it was established. Dave and Rhi have now joined the board of trustees and Dave is the chair. Both Dave and Rhi and Colin and Cara are involved in mentoring and regularly visit and speak in various churches.
During 2023 Bridge agreed to take on The Mutende Project from the charity Care for Zambia. Many of the existing Care for Zambia trustees have become trustees of Bridge, bringing their valuable expertise with them. The two charities have some of the same partners in Zambia and coming together should provide greater resilience for their projects.
