A Successful Indian Evening
On the 21st October we were able to hold our first Indian meal in over three years! Before the pandemic these were a regular feature in our fundraising calendar but like many other charities we had to put such events on hold.
Over 60 people joined us at Alma Church to enjoy a lovely Indian meal cooked by our friends at Bristol Hospitality Network. Both were very generous towards us for which we are very grateful.
We were able to catch up with lots of old friends and also make new connections with people coming to one of our events for the first time. Dave shared about some of the projects that the Bridge Trust Ltd support and their were opportunities to buy Christmas cards, biscuits and drinks – including our specially made Mango Lassi!
From ticket sales, purchases and generous donations made on the night we raised over £3,000. Thank you! All the money from this event will go to support the work in India. This will enable us to build more toilets in rural areas and also support our Healthcare workers in the Delhi slums.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to make the event such a great success!
P.S. Our exclusive Bridge Trust Ltd Christmas Cards are still available to buy here
