Toilet blocks improve life for women in India
This is a toilet block that has been built in the village of Chaapur, by our partners in India. With the support of donors in the UK we are able to fund toilet blocks like these in rural areas.
Without toilet facilities, women have to go out to the fields by themselves, where they are vulnerable. This simple practical provision makes a real difference to their safety and quality of life.
A toilet block like this one costs in the region of £700. Supporting one of these blocks is an achievable community fundraising project too, so why not gather together your work colleagues or friends to provide another one? Visit our donation page to find out how you can give.
