Thanks from the health workers
The Bridge Trust Ltd supports a team of 30 women health workers in a pocket of the slums in the Indian capital, Delhi. We recently sent our latest 6 months’ of support for them. We were able to add money to pay for the new saris that the team are given each Christmas, thanks to the generosity of one of our supporters. The team all wear matching saris, which makes them easily recognisable to the people they work amongst.
We have just received these photos of the team and their thanks for continuing to sponsor them. In turn, we thank those of our supporters who provide funds for this work.
We will be providing some top-up training for the health workers when a team from Bridge visits India in March. Severe air pollution in Delhi has been in the news recently, and one of the topics that the team have asked for training about is respiratory problems.
