Visiting India
Dave Day and a team of 5 others have recently returned from a visit to our partners in Delhi. They led leadership training schools in Delhi and Agra and four of the team had a weekend in Chennai with the Victory Church.
The remainder of the time was spent visiting several of the projects we support as a Trust. It was encouraging to see how the Slum schools, Health Care work and Orphan Care were prospering. They make such difference to the lives of many living in poverty.
Delhi is one of the fastest growing cities in the world – and one of the most polluted. The Bridge Trust Ltd helps to support health workers in one of the pockets of slums in the city, slum schools and orphans in a children’s home. We try to visit the work in India at least once a year, so that we can see how our support is being used, and find out at first hand what we could do that would be the most use. Thanks to all who support this work. It is so worthwhile.

In March 2020 a small team will be visiting India again. One of the things that will happen then is some more training for the health workers.
