Bridge team visiting India
On 1st November, Dave Day and a team from Bridge will be visiting India. They will participate in a leaders’ conference in Delhi. They will also be seeing at first hand work that we are able to support in India thanks to the generosity of our donors.
In India, Bridge
- funds and trains a team of health workers in a slum area of Delhi
- supports orphans in the Love India Children’s Home
- funds slum schools
- trains leaders
- provides financial support to church leaders in several parts of the country.
We make a point of visiting at least once a year. That means that we can see at first hand how the money we provide has been spent, and we can find out by meeting and talking to people what their needs are and how we can best help them.
Dave will be joined again by John Harding and John Gibson from Frontline Church in Liverpool, and for the first time by Roger Constantine from Bournemouth Community Church.
We expect to send another team in March 2020. One of the things that will happen then is some further training for the health workers.
